Songs of Yearning ignites the emotion of the poet that he so strongly feels about how man has failed his maker till yet but there is still chance of redemption if only man would wish to be redeemed. This feeling of fullfillment is in the course of time reflected in the personal life of the poet of how emotionally fulfilling it might have been and the ruins it is, in reality.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Art some say is a reflection of life. Poetry being one of the oldest and most respected of the arts is no different. Poetry to me is a cushion. It is my friend and has been a constant companion since my school days firstly as a half-understanding admirer and a little bit later as an active contributor.
The last few years has been tumultuous for me. I have suffered near nervous breakdowns to a feeling of complete dejection, desolation and isolation. But through all this, through the ups and downs of a life that a person of my temperament is decreed to have, verse has always been there for me. I have found suture in its rhymes, solace in its heartfelt emotions. Indeed it has supported me throughout. This anthology records those conversations with my muse which I so highly treasure.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
This collection of verse is a bit different. Since the last couple of months I have started to experiment with something I perceive to be visual poetry. Videos of poems. These videos present or sometimes even supplement the rich visual imagery often found in poetry. The characters in this anthology are mainly the world, me, my beloved and our father the supreme god.

The Metaphysics of Love
Is it here that I will find peace,
In the darkness of the night,
When the darkness is alight,
Into the thin air,
Of hate and despair.
Is it here that the battle lies,
Where the duel of the fates vie,
Is it here in the darkness of the soul,
Where the rivers grow old,
And the young ones are bought and sold.
In the soothing darkness,
After aeons of false light,
I find solace
In the chill of the fright.
A journey through the metaphysic
Of darkness and light, of evil and good,
But i am too young so spare me the time,
To have my share of joy.
Tear apart this paper,
Burn away these lines,
All i want is my girl,
Who’s now someone else’s wife.
Please come back to me
With tears on bended knees i pray.
I love you, I always had,
Only been too scared to say.
I love you,
Please come back to me,
Set me free,
From these wounds that chain.
It is from your arms that the boat of this tale shall sail.
