Whispers from Beyond by Manush Lochan Madan

Author’s poetic avocation seems to get the better of his legal vocation. Was born in 1955 and spent major part of his in New Delhi. His published work includes, “book of Joy”, which contains Rubai’s of Umar Khaiyam in blank verse in English. Fourth edition of his legal hand-book on “Sale-Purchase of Properties’ was published in 2013.

Word – smithery is involved in both, his vocation as well as his avocation, but his first ever published anthology of poems is good enough a proof of his prowess much beyond. His was an exceptional and unique journey of life. Quirks of his fate, catapulted him from childhood straight to matured living, worrying and solving riddles of mundane living. He would befriend persons double his age, much to his advantage.

Deep spiritual pursuits became his cup of tea in his youthful days. He happened to get chosen by his mentor, who was a multi-facet personality of substance. The joyful journeying along with mentor was blissful and pleasurable for both. Imprints left behind on his being a deep and substantial.

Now that his mentor has chosen an abode in heaven, the Author hangs-out with friends, less than half his age. A unique peculiar life-style indeed. May be, he is living a life, which he missed out in his youth.

Godly Inspirations For the Troubled Soul by Lisa C. Miller @inspirationlisa

Hi,
I live in the beautiful state of Alaska with my family where the spirits of animals and men roam free.
I am married to a wonderful man and we have three children and foster girls which brings us joy.
I am currently a full-time college student and I write inspirational poetry. I have published two books so far.
Titles are:
1 Godly Inspirations for the Troubled Soul
2 Inspirations from Heaven’s Gate
Both are books of poetry with bible verses sprinkled within.
They can be found on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
I am able through the help of The Holy Spirit to write about the beauty and simplicity of life. Through words I want to reveal the beauty of Christ to the broken and lost spirits of humanity. Through pouring out my heart and tears and trying to be transparent I want to encourage people to see we are in this together.
I enjoy reading, writing, blogging, walking, family, social networking, scrap booking and photography.
I started out in a military family my dad joined the Air Force when i was little so the world has been my playground. It is where I learned to get along with other people and accept myself.
I am very comfortable with books and pens and paper. I sometimes feel like I was born with a pencil in my hand and I started writing at six years old and it has just expanded from there. I have never passed a library or used bookstore that I haven’t liked. As you can tell I am very chatty about my life, books and writing.
I am a Christian lady who comes from a Christian background and family. I came to know the Lord on a personal level when I was 17 years old. Since then I have been on a quest to learn more about Him and myself. On my journey I have come to realize my purpose in life is to write what is on God’s heart and encourage the broken and lost souls of humanity with it.
Here are two quotes I think sum up my writing life:
“I am a little pencil in the hand of writing God who is sending out a love letter to the world.”
Mother Teresa
“Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart.”
William Wordsworth

My Auntie Jane’s A Pirate and other poems for children by Martin Pierce

There seems to be so much to laugh about these days and I’ve discovered the best way to spread the humour around is by writing silly poems. I’ve collected them together into four poetry books for children; ‘Just Kidding’, ‘My Auntie Jane’s a Pirate’, ‘Funny Poems and Rhymes’ and my latest ‘Tickly Poetry.’

Have you ever stopped and actually listened to what you say? Some very strange things come out of your mouth without you even realising it. Just take a look at my other e-book on Kindle called ‘Idioms and Phrases,’ and you will see what I mean. Whoever invented this English language? It’s really weird!

If you need to have a little break from all these words then take a dip into ‘Comic Comics.’ Pages and pages of funny cartoons will brighten up even the dullest afternoon. I can personally recommend everything I have written!

Just Kidding – funny poems for kids by Martin Pierce

I was born at a very early age and decided straight away I was going to grow up. And that is exactly what I did, I got bigger.

One day I went to school. The next day I had to go again and I had to continue for many years in order to keep the teachers in a job. They soon learnt I was hopeless at counting and awful at speling. But at least I learnt the 3 Rs – rite and rong.

I have a castle in Scotland and a medium sized island near Australia and I have a pet leopard and three monkeys. I also have the bad habit of telling boastful fibs.

People often ask me what’s the secret of my success. I’ll tell you: it’s a secret.

Dazed & Amazed by Ashley Elgindy

My name is Ashley Elgindy and I’ve been a writer all of my life…The kind that writes ideas, thoughts, poems, lyrics, movie and TV show ideas etc etc on napkins, then stores them in a little shoe box for ‘later’. I guess we’re all writers right?

Well after enjoying fair success on TV and Radio in Italy and Egypt, I finally had the time and the courage to publish my first poetry book ‘Dazed & Amazed’ in 2005. Three years later came ‘Simply Unthinkable’. And now with a loving push from my friends, my wife Elena, Amazon and Kindle, the time has come to take my first Fable/Novel off that circular production line, and expose a little more of myself…Always a scary prospect don’t you think?
